  • (fr-FR) Etablissement propre à un groupe de soufis, où ceux-ci se retrouvent autour d'un shaykh et effectuent leur rituel et leurs dévotions. A rapprocher des institutions désignées par les termes de khanqah, ribat et zaouïa, ils se développent dans un contexte ottoman, à partir du XVIe siècle, et apparaissent comme des fondations de grande taille, dotées de revenus importants et associées au pouvoir ottoman ou à des derviches turcs.
  • (ar) منشأة خاصة بمجموعة من المتصوفين حيث يلتف هؤلاء حول شيخ ويقومون بممارسة طقوسهم وإتمام واجباتهم الشعائرية. يجب الربط بين هذه المنشأة والمنشآت المعروفة باسم "خانقاة"، "رباط"، و"زاوية"، والتي تطورت أيام العثمانيين، بداية من القرن السادس عشر وتحولت لمؤسسات ضخمة لها مصادر دخل هامة وعلى اِتصال بالسلطة العثمانية أو بالدراويش الأتراك
  • (en-UK) An institution belonging to a Sufi group, where the brothers meet around a sheikh and perform rituals and devotions. Associated with institutions designated by the terms khanqah, ribat, and zawiyah, they developed under Ottoman rule, starting in the 16th century. They emerged as large-scale foundations, endowed with significant incomes, and linked to Ottoman power or Turkish dervishes.
